MnSCC Earth Day Event at the State Capitol Rotunda!

April 22, 2010 State Capitol Rotunda, St. Paul, MN

Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon participants have the unique opportunity to display about their energy efficiency and renewable energy projects at the State Capitol Rotunda from 10 AM to 2 PM on Thursday April 22, EARTH DAY.

All schools are invited to participate, we hope to have at least 10-15 displays. Participants must have their displays up at 10 and they will need to take them down at 2 (students could represent their school in shifts, but ideally, we’d like to have every school that signs up be there for those 4 hours). We have easels for posters and tables for other things, just let us know what your needs are and we will do our very best to accommodate you. Students will have an opportunity to present on their projects for about 5 minutes each at the podium. Keep in mind, congress is in session, so there will be people passing through! This is your chance to brag about all the great projects you’re doing at your schools to protect our environment!!!

Please join us! Contact Mollie, MnSCC Assistant Coordinator, mnscchelp@cleanenergyresourceteams.org or 612-626-1028 with any questions or to express interest!
