Carbon Cutting Survey

We conducted a survey with students and faculty in grades 9-12. Some of the questions were….
1.Do you have any suggestions on how to reduce energy costs? The outcome was better lights.
2.Do you recyce outside of school? The outcome was 74% yes and 26% No
3.Would wind or solar energy be more efficient for the school? Wind was 62% and Solar was 38%
4.Would you be interested in helping with a vollunteer project? 70% said yes and 30% said no
5. Do you recycle outside of school? faculty 100% said yes

Determine what was presently is being done to reduce carbon use in the school and community. Another goal was to use the information to develop a marketing plan to promote ways of reducing the carbon footprint of the school and community.
