Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

The student senate is promoting recycling and educating students, staff and faculty on proper recycling procedures March 18th, April 15th and May 6th. The senate will be moving all trash receptacles to one area of the Commons over the noon hour to force students to dispose of trash in one area. This gives the senate and other student groups the opportunity to talk with each student and educate them on the proper ways to recycle. Each student who participates by disposing of their waste and recycling in the correct receptacles will receive a cookie.
