Gordon Park High School
• The Environmental Team at Gordon Park High School, engaging students and teachers in energy projects through MN Schools Cutting Carbon (a CERTs partnership program). The team is working on two big projects, one in conjunction with 3M and the shops facility to create solar powered water pumps for Africa, and safer bike routes around University Avenue.
Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon is a program of Clean Energy Resource Teams, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and Minnesota Office of Energy Security. Funding provided by Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources.
