Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

• The Energy Team at Hopkins High School, engaging students and teachers in energy projects through MN Schools Cutting Carbon (a CERTs partnership program). The team is doing education outreach with fellow students and teachers about how vampire loads can impact the schools energy usage. The team goes around in the summer and unplugs unused appliances with notes saying why they are unplugged, and returns before the school year to plug them in again.
