Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

In addition to National Earth Hour, held on March 28 from 8:30 to 9:30 PM, our school will shut off lights in classrooms in order to observe Osseo Senior High’s Earth Hour. At the beginning of sixth hour (approximately 1:05 PM), an announcement will be made for all teachers to shut off lights, if able, and to teach the hour’s lesson in the dark. This event will increase student and teacher awareness of energy conservation and the advantages of using natural light in a classroom setting.
