Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

On October 23rd, Itasca Community College joined hundreds of schools and other organizations to draw attention to climate change. Students and faculty organized a booth in the college cafeteria with sustainable and environmentally sound shopping choices, cards to send to President Obama about climate change, and sustainable/organic food prizes. A poster was made with photos showing students and faculty doing environmentally friendly activities such as riding their bikes to school, using solar power to help power their homes, recycling, etc.
