Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

Mesabi Range College is making headlines with our exciting plans for a Wind Energy program to start Fall 2009. With the help of Lisa Janisch, industry professional and Taconite Ridge wind project superintendent, the college is developing a certificate for Wind Energy Technicians (with a degree option) for students in addition to the Electrical and Industrial Automation Technology, Industrial Mechanical Technology, and Industrial Technology programs. Mesabi Range is also poised to deliver customized training for incumbent workers in the wind industry.
