WDIO TV - Green Bandits Save Energy With Schools Cutting Carbon

Proctor High School

Excerpt from video:

A group of middle school students is working toward making the Proctor High School a greener place to learn. It started with a simple class assignment.

“We thought of ways to make Proctor more eco friendly and energy efficient. And we came up with projects,” says 8th grader Becky.

Some students like 7th grader Austin are interested in recycling. But now their projects are taking over the school. They’re the Green Bandits. The group has taken their ideas as far as the Proctor City Council. Proctor High School is one of 23 Minnesota schools, colleges, and universities receiving money through this grant.
