Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

“Going Green” is a phrase we are hearing more and more often, whether it be on your favorite TV shows, advertisements, on the radio, or in magazines and newspapers. While it is great that people are becoming more aware of alternative products and choices that can reduce our impact on the environment, many people are unsure exactly what it means to “be green.” How much do you have to change in your life? How much will it cost, and how much money can you save? Does everything really make a difference? This colloquium is a chance for campus and community members to come together to hear about some simple things they can do, as well as ask questions and begin a discussion about “going green.”
