Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

We, along with the other 4 community colleges in the Northeastern Higher Education District, have completed our application for Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon $20,000 grant! If awarded the grant, we will reduce our Scope 2 carbon emissions by replacing lighting fixtures in a prominent space on campus with an energy efficient lighting system and develop and mount an interpretive display relaying information about the project around sustainability and carbon emissions reductions.

The other colleges will pursue other great projects including student housing, commuting, food service, and solid waste.
