Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

The Integrated II Science class decided to add recycling bins to our school the spring of 2008. It has been a successful project ever since, and SAC has become more aware of all the products that can be recycled instead of thrown in the garbage. In the past year our school has recycled 2000 pounds of office paper and 2 tons of cardboard. We are now expanding this project to the elementary site as well. Therefore, students and staff members can carry out and promote recycling in their homes as well.
