Minnesota Schools Cutting Carbon

We painted a mural- spring break of 2008.
We held a movie night and approximately thirty students showed up!
We worked at a booth at a health fair this past August.
We also worked at an organic farm twice: once for two days, and once for three days.
We are working with the custodial staff to make our school more environmentally friendly.
We are in the process of recycling from the classroom bins, that for several years have been being dumped into the garbage.
We are also in planning process of doing another mural, this time with a science theme.
We hope to be receiving our $500 grant, and using the money for paper recycling bins for the hallways.
