Rural Water Wells to be Tested

Ortonville High School Environmental Science students will be testing the water of rural wells in Big Stone County this spring. Rural residents can select if they want their water tested for nitrate concentration and/or the presence of bacteria. This procedure is voluntary and is provided in conjunction with the Upper Minnesota River Watershed District. Testing will begin the week of April 13.
